100x Impact Accelerator Programme 2027/28: £150,000 for Social Ventures Ready to Scale

100x Impact, based at the London School of Economics (LSE), is accepting applications for its 2027/28 Impact Accelerator. The programme is for social enterprises and impact-driven organisations that already have a proven solution to a social or environmental challenge and want to reach many more people. Rather than just growing the organisation, 100x helps founders find the best routes to scale. These can include partnerships, government adoption, digital tools or open-source approaches. Both for-profit and non-profit ventures can apply, from anywhere in the world.

What Selected Ventures Get

  • Funding: £150,000 in catalytic funding.
  • Accelerator: A tailored 16-week programme on scaling strategy, impact measurement and leadership.
  • Long-Term Partnership: Ongoing strategic support and access to LSE's research expertise.
  • Network: Connections to funders, advisers, partners and peer organisations.
  • Follow-On Funding: More funding may be available, depending on suitability and funds. It is not guaranteed.

Key Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should show:

  • A Clear Problem: Evidence of the problem and the people it affects.
  • A Proven Solution: A tested model with positive outcomes.
  • Impact and Growth: Adoption, measurable results and a track record of delivery.
  • A Capable Team: Leaders with the experience and skills to grow the organisation.
  • A Scaling Plan: A credible, practical route to reaching more people.
  • System-Level Potential: The ability to change how the problem is tackled beyond your own beneficiaries.

100x aims for 70% of its portfolio to come from emerging markets, and values applications where founders or senior team members are based where the organisation operates.

Impact Areas

Health and social care, education, climate and environment, equitable economies, happiness and wellbeing, and refugees and social cohesion.
