The Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) has launched a Women's Share Subscription Grant Initiative. It is designed to help up to two million vulnerable and low and middle-income Nigerian women take part in the capital market. The initiative supports eligible women to subscribe to shares in the ongoing Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE (DPRP), giving them a chance to build equity ownership and long-term wealth.
Two Grant Options
- Matching Grant Track: Open to eligible independent applicants earning ₦100,000 or less a month. Women who subscribe to a minimum of 10 shares get an ADF-funded application for an additional 10 shares in their names.
- Unconditional Grant Track: Eligible beneficiaries who meet the investor identification and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements get an ADF-funded application for 20 shares. This track is for verified participants in designated ADF programmes, including CRoWN, ADFIN and Mu Shuka Iri, as well as verified service widows. Eligible non-commissioned servicewomen and service spouses can also take part, subject to the requirements.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Gender and Age: Be a Nigerian woman aged 18 or older.
- Residence: Live in Nigeria.
- Category: Meet the requirements of the participation category you apply under.
- Verification: Complete the required identity verification and KYC processes.
- One Grant Only: Each woman can receive only one ADF share grant across all the Foundation's share grant schemes.
You do not need an existing Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) account. Where one is needed, it will be created through Vetiva after you complete the IPO KYC process.
