Applications are now open for the Creative Changemakers Fellowship (CCMF) 2026, an initiative designed to empower emerging creators who leverage storytelling, media, and art to strengthen democratic participation and drive social change across Nigeria. The fellowship will select 15 emerging creatives with a proven passion for transparency, civic engagement, and social justice for a 3-month hybrid program running from September to November 2026 that combines virtual learning, interactive in-person creative labs, ongoing mentorship, and practical production experience.
As Nigeria and the wider African continent face expanding governance challenges, spreading misinformation, and a shrinking civic space, creative minds are critical in shaping narratives, encouraging civic action, and holding institutions accountable. CCMF aims to equip these voices with the tools and support needed to maximize their impact.
