Applications are now open for Cohort 3 of the Policy Advocacy and Leadership (PAL) Fellowship 2026, organized by CYPA AFRICA. Designed to raise a new generation of policy thinkers, advocates, and public leaders, this program equips participants to tackle governance challenges and foster evidence-based policymaking across subnational governments in Nigeria.
The program runs from September to December 2026 and focuses on six core pillars: Policy, Research, Strategy, Advocacy, Leadership, and Ideas. Fellows will engage with senior legislators, academics, policymakers, and governance experts through an intensive learning curriculum.
Who can apply
- Age Requirement: 18–35 years
- Eligibility: Residents or natives of any of the 19 Northern States or the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
Coverage:
Accommodation and feeding during the residency are provided by the Fellowship. Participants are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel to and from Jos.
