The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) and Lagos Innovates, has partnered with InnoPower to launch the EkoAI Academy 2026. This initiative provides free artificial intelligence training designed to equip 10,000 young Lagos residents with practical AI skills for career advancement and business growth.
Rather than teaching complex coding or software development, the non-technical curriculum focuses on real-world applications and prompt engineering, teaching participants how to effectively direct everyday AI tools to boost workplace productivity and operational performance.
Training Tracks
Applicants can select one of two specialized tracks based on their goals:
- Job Seeker Track: Tailored for individuals looking to boost employability. Focuses on using AI for resume and document preparation, interview readiness, digital capabilities, and workplace productivity.
- Entrepreneurship Track: Designed for business owners and aspiring founders. Focuses on using AI for business planning, customer insights, marketing strategies, content creation, and operational efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria
