The KPMG Supply Chain Management Consulting Graduate Programme 2027 offers young South African graduates a pathway into supply chain and procurement consulting. Participants work alongside experienced professionals to solve complex operational challenges and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes for major organizations across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution & Technology: Assist in executing project scopes using specialized software and innovative technology tools.
  • Problem Solving & Brainstorming: Partner with team members to conceptualize and design solutions for client challenges.
  • Deliverable Creation: Develop reports, presentations, and data models to present insights directly to clients.
  • Process & Structure Improvement: Identify inefficiencies to optimize client service delivery, organizational structures, technology systems, governance, and operational workflows.
  • Research & Data Gathering: Collect evidence and conduct research to stress-test client assumptions and analyze performance metrics.
  • Project Management Support: Help track project progress, monitor budgets, analyze risks, and prepare status reports.
  • Client Engagement: Facilitate interviews, workshops, and meetings with client personnel across all organizational levels.
  • Business Development: Assist in drafting client proposals and creating industry thought-leadership materials.

Academic Requirements

Applicants must hold or be in the process of completing an Honours or Master’s degree in one of the following fields:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Logistics Management
  • Procurement and Supply Management
  • Operations Management
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Commerce (majoring in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Operations Management, Transport & Distribution, or Inventory & Warehouse Management)
