Lagos Business School (LBS) has trained senior public officials in Lagos State through a specialized capacity-building initiative designed to accelerate public-sector reforms and improve the overall investor experience.
Organized alongside J. Soji-George Consulting, the program emphasized that attracting and retaining investments depends heavily on how public officials execute policies, communicate regulatory expectations, and resolve administrative bottlenecks.
The curriculum covered two strategic pillars: market-facing transformation (understanding investor expectations, crafting investment propositions, and executive communication) and institution-facing transformation (managing stakeholder interests, cross-MDA collaboration, and performance execution). To ensure practical application, participants engaged in investor simulations, stakeholder mapping, and launched a 90-day reform sprint across participating Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
