The ICT Authority, on behalf of the Ministry of Information, Communications and The Digital Economy (MICDE), is receiving applications for Cohort XI of the Presidential Digital Talent Programme (Digitalent). This 12-month strategic internship program aims to build high-end ICT talent in Kenya by bridging the gap between academic training and industry demands, preparing young ICT graduates for employment through hands-on workplace experience, professional mentorship, and networking.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Must hold a First Class or Second Class Honours (Upper Division) degree in BSc ICT or Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Systems/Software, or Security) completed since January 2024. Students awaiting graduation by December 2026 may apply with a signed and stamped university recommendation letter confirming their expected honors class.
- Demonstrated Skills: Applicants must demonstrate core technical competencies prior to interviews.
- Age & Status: Must be an unemployed Kenyan youth aged 21 to 29.
- Prior Experience: Applicants must not have previously participated in any Government of Kenya internship program.
- Deployment: Must be available for full-time deployment (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) across any of the 47 county Ministries, Departments, or Agencies (MCDAs). Females, persons with disabilities, and graduates from ASAL regions are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Submission: Submit applications online through recruitment.digitalent.go.ke. Paper or email submissions will not be accepted.
- Required Documents: National ID/Passport copy, KCSE certificate, Degree Certificate (or official reference letter), and a passport-size photo.
- Compliance: Providing false or misleading information is subject to legal action, including fines up to Kshs. 200,000 or imprisonment for up to two years.
- Deadline: September 7, 2026.
