Key Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Open to All: Anyone seeking full-time master's or PhD study at UM is eligible, regardless of nationality, ethnic background, or prior work experience.
- Admission Requirements: Must fulfill all general admission requirements for the chosen master's or PhD programme, plus any additional requirements specific to that programme.

- Tuition fees offset by the monthly stipend before disbursement.
Master's Scholarship Package:
- Type A: 100% tuition waiver, 100% on-campus accommodation waiver (shared bedroom), and a half teaching assistantship worth MOP 4,000/month.
- Type B: 100% tuition waiver.
- Type C: International tuition differential waiver, so awardees pay the local student rate.

The deadline for the first batch of doctoral programme applications is October 23, 2026. Master's and postgraduate certificate applications close December 3, 2026. Apply through the University of Macau scholarship webpage.
