Youth Business International (YBI) has opened applications for its flagship Generation Growth Bootcamp 2026, a two-phase accelerator program designed to help high-growth, youth-led enterprises scale their operations, cross international borders, and future-proof their business models.

With over 25 years of experience operating across 70+ countries, YBI focuses on driving economic growth and job creation by providing youth-led enterprises with business education, access to finance, and expert mentoring.
A Two-Phase Growth Model
The program combines accessible digital learning with an elite, immersive in-person experience:
- Phase 1: Online Digital Bootcamp (September 14 – November 6, 2026) Hosted on YBI’s EYE Academy platform, this free eight-week course delivers practical, self-paced modules, webinars, and peer networking. The curriculum focuses on key scaling drivers:
- Mental Health & Well-being
- Leadership Development
- Business Innovation
- Responsible & Sustainable Business Practices
- Investment Readiness & Financing Strategy
- Phase 2: In-Person Bootcamp in Nairobi (February 15 – 19, 2027) The top 21 graduates from the online phase will be selected for an intensive, week-long accelerator in Nairobi, Kenya. Participants will receive tailored 1-on-1 coaching, pitch training with industry leaders, and bespoke strategy sessions.
Global Recognition and Awards
All 21 finalists attending the Nairobi experience will automatically qualify as finalists for YBI’s Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award across three categories. The program concludes with a global awards ceremony celebrating the most promising impact entrepreneurs.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Born between January 1, 1992, and January 1, 2006.
- Affiliation: Currently receiving or previously received support from a YBI member organization.
- Track Record: At least three years of active operations with projects launched to market.
- Growth Potential: Strong evidence of High Growth Potential (ability to scale revenue, expand workforce, and increase profit/production).
- Category Fit: Alignment with one of the three Global Young Entrepreneur Award categories.
